“New hires at EF English First go through a multi-stage onboarding process that consists of 3 key sections. The first is the pre-arrival support that they receive prior to moving to China. This includes online webinars, basic training modules, and an resources to prepare them for life in China. The second stage begins upon arriving in China and lasts roughly 2 weeks. They receive hands-on support in getting setup in China (including housing agent contacts, setting up a bank account, Mandarin beginner's course) and an introduction to their training cohort. The third and final stage focuses on getting the new hires started in their role with an experienced mentor and hands-on learning opportunities. ”
